A simple and direct message with attractive visuals differentiates local candidates and can make the right choice stand out from the crowd.
It doesn’t always take big budgets to make an impact on political campaigns. Sometimes all it takes is getting your message in front of the right people at the right time.
In an ever-increasingly digital world, it’s important to put your best foot forward online. A simple and direct message with attractive visuals differentiates local candidates and can make the right choice stand out from the crowd.
Chris Bordeaux designed and developed the campaign website for Jerome T Evans, a public servant running to represent the community of District 63B in the Minnesota House of Representatives. Bordeaux has known Evans for years, both personally and professionally, and is proud to support his campaign.
The campaign website architecture was drafted to align with the most important call-to-actions and messaging elements. Top level pages include:
- Campaign – where and when can visitors support the campaign?
- Issues – what are the most important campaign commitments?
- Meet Jerome – who is the candidate?
Encouraging community members to sign up for the campaign’s newsletter was deemed the most important action a user could engage in. It’s also the most predominate and consistent call-to-action button within the content.
Creating simple content blocks leveraging campaign branding allowed for effective responsive design. The website looks great on a desktop, tablet, and phone.
